Terms and Conditions

It is important that these terms and conditions are read and accepted before placing your order.

Flour Lane reserves the right to amend the terms and conditions at our own discretion and they will be effective immediately.

Delivery

Flour Lane delivers to Sydney and selected surrounding suburbs. The delivery rate is based on kilometres from Annandale and will be calculated at checkout.

Deliveries are between Monday - Saturday 9am-5pm and Sunday 9am-12pm on the date requested. We are unable to specify an exact time for delivery as all delivery drivers must follow a specific route to deliver all cakes on the day requested. We are unable to prioritise any delivery addresses.

If the recipient is not at the delivery address given, if it is safe to do so, the cake will be left at the premises. Flour Lane is not responsible for melted cakes if a wrong address is supplied or if the recipient is not available to receive the cake.

Once your cake has been delivered it will need to be stored in the fridge if storing overnight. It can be kept at room temperature away from direct sunlight for about 6 hours at an ambient temperature. Flour Lane does not take responsibility for wrongly stored cakes.

Changes and Refunds

Flour Lane will accept changes to orders made with 48hrs notice. All changes need to be via email with the order number quoted in the email.

Orders can be canceled with 48hrs notice. Please send your cancellation by email with your order number quoted. Flour Lane will give refunds for cancelled orders with at least 48 hours notice. The full refund amount is given less the fees. Once the refund has been processed it may take up to 7 days to see the funds in your account.

Placing an Order

Orders are placed online. Browse our selection of cakes, select your cake and Add to Cart. Select a date to receive your order and proceed through to the Checkout and complete your payment.

No there is no minimum order.

We accept Visa, Mastercard and Amex. Cash is not accepted.

Our Annandale shop is where our kitchen is and we do Pick Up from that location. You might get lucky and we may have a spare cake for you to purchase. However to avoid disappointment it is best to order online.

Our cakes need a 2 day lead in time unless we're fully booked. If you want your cake for the weekend, it's best to order the week before to avoid disappointment.

Cut off for Saturday orders is Thursday 10pm.

About My Cake

Your cake can be stored in the fridge. Please remove it from the fridge at least 2 hours before serving. Your cake can be displayed for 6 hours at an ambient temperature.

Yes you can have your cake delivered straight to the venue of your event. Please let us know that your cake is for a venue and the starting time of your event. You can write this information in the message box available at checkout.

Please note we won't deliver to a wharf.

Small alterations will be accepted for example colour changes. Please let us know in the text box provided on the product page and we'll contact you if there's any extra charge.

It's best to choose one of our cakes that aligns the most with your vision and we can make small alterations to fit your dream cake.

Unfortunately at this time we are unable to accomodate any dietary requirements but we are working hard in the kitchen to come up with delicious solutions for you.

Delivery

We deliver all over Sydney. Approximately 50km radius from Annandale.

Delivery is based kms from Annandale. The delivery rate for your suburb will be calculated at checkout.

Your cake will be delivered on your selected date. Our delivery is from 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday and 8-6pm on Saturdays. We are unable to accommodate specific delivery times. If you need a 4 hour delivery window, please let us know and we'll try our best to accommodate you.

You will receive a text the morning of delivery with a delivery window and tracking information. You will be able to track your driver in real time and have an estimated time of arrival.

Order Changes and Cancellations
